My name is
Bridget Hayman and I am very fortunate to be a member of Roborough
Inner Wheel. A very friendly, lively and interesting group of
ladies. I was born here in Plymouth, educated here but have travelled
quite extensively during my lifetime. I first joined Inner Wheel
in 2005 but pressure of
work as a fulltime secondary teacher meant I could not support
the group as I wanted. After retirement, my husband and I moved
To Cyprus returning in 2019 just in time for the pandemic to hit.
My husband is a Rotarian and it felt only natural to join Inner
Wheel once again. I have been the Club correspondent for the past
3 years and Vice President this year. I spend my spare time making
cards and completing other crafty bits and pieces. Gardening is
a joy to do but above all interacting with our beautiful grand
daughter Lucy is the best part of both my husbands and my life.
There is a firm foundation set by my fellow ladies and I intend
to uphold all the values that are part and parcel of being a member
of Inner Wheel. I look forward to meeting other members over the
coming year. I have started to save my pennies for the conference
next year as it is an event not to be
missed on many levels.
Yours In Friendship Bridget
